Poverty - a lack of physical, social and spiritual resources - is caused by barriers in our relationships with God and with each other. As staff and volunteers with Christian Volunteer Movement we believe we can be part of the solution to poverty in its many forms in The Gambia, in West Africa. We believe by following Christian principles and the best practices of development, we can help to remove barriers in the lives of Gambians. In doing so, we also expect personal growth and healing in our own hearts.
